We are just three guys who came together for the love of music, at a point in our lives where each had a story that we wanted to tell. Music gave us that outlet to express feelings that we might otherwise hide. We hope that you are able to feel our music, because before we play it, we LIVE IT.

Riven/Rivin-- To rend or tear apart; To break into pieces, as by a blow; cleave or split asunder; To break or distress (the spirit).
We choose to be seen as we truly are, not cleaned up or fixed. Everyone has times in life where they lose hope or feel torn apart. We hope that by sharing ours, we can help you to face yours.

It's not always pretty, but we are what we are.
Face it, love it or leave it; we offer NO APOLOGIES for our life or the way that we live it.
No Apologies, No censors, No alterations.
Pure, but not clean.
Honest, but not proper.
Here is our pledge that we will not hide:
WE OFFER NO APOLOGIES

.
Hunter"He so hot right now" Martin

Instrument: Bass, vocals

Inspiration: Mark Hoppus; Feildy

Hunter's most important area in the band is the lyrics. He draws his lyrics from personal and hypothetical situations. Hunter is inspired by singer/songwriters such as Mark Hoppus, Tom Delong, Cory Taylor, and Dave Grohl. He plays an Ibanez SRX 300 through an Ampeg SVT-4 Pro Series Head on a SVT-800 cab.
Tyler "Bring It" Duncan

Instrument: Lead Guitar, vocals

Inspiration: Kirk Hammet

Tyler is responsible for the creation of the vast majority of the music in the band. He blends unusually diverse styles and genres of music from all ends of the rock spectrum, such as metal, punk, ska, and industrial to create music that lacks any one label; a hybrid. He plays H & MH series LtD’s through a Marshall mode four stack.

Skylar "She Did What?" Martin

Instrument: Drums

Inspiration: Travis Barker

Skylar has been a serious drummer for only 3 years, but has quickly surfaced as the most talented member of the band. His favorite drummer is Travis Barker, but he also draws inspiration from drummers such as Lars Ulrich, Joey Jordeson, and Neal Peart. He plays on a DW set with Zildijin A series cymbals.
Butch Duncan

Manager/ Agent

Butch has been the match to the Rivin flame. Always pumping them up and making it possible for them to pursue their dream. Without him, there would be no California Tour.

Butch loves long walks on the beach, quiet times with nature, and loud rock bands with no concept of sleep. Oh yeah, and he sucks at Halo 2.
